I have met with his sister, brother and mother who all have questions that need to be answered. Robert Simmons was a resident in Augusta where his family still resdies. Chris Edwards advised that the skeletal remains had been identified as Robert Simmons who was a missing person out of Augusta, Arkansas. In May 2014, Medical Examiner Chris Edwards whom I have been working with to get this person identified contacted the White County Sheriff's Department. I have 12 more names that I am requesting to have DNA comparisons on. Those four people were Larry Don Madden, Antonio Taylor, Jarrod Green, and Matthew Pentagrast. During this time, four Missing Persons who are listed on NAMUS (a nation-wide missing or endangered person database) have been excluded as the victim in this case. Since 2010, I have been working this case. It was also stated tha the skeletal remains were possibly African or Indian. It was noted that it was most likely a male but a female has not been ruled out. Gender and Ethnic Affinity: Evaluations by a forensic anthropologist suggested the remains shared both classifications as male or female. Victim: Identified as Robert Simmons in May 2014Įstimated time of death: at least 12-18 months prior to being recovered.
